| Unfinished circular doily. Needle lace worked with cotton thread using the Punto Venezia and Punto Burano techniques. The pattern, that shows a clearly legible design that includes facing elephants among vegetable volutes, is mounted on cloth, secured on the pillow and supported by the murello. The lace comes from the Venetian workshop of the Mazzaron sisters, Lina and Maria. | ||
